Winter stroll with little Alice
On the calendar, it’s January 8. This morning, I looked out the window and saw such a wonderful marvel!
Outside, the birds were sitting. They fluffed up their feathers. It was evident that it was a bit frosty outside. But what a beauty it was! A sunny frosty morning.
We had breakfast and went for a walk with our little one.
It was such a joy! Because my daughter saw snow for the first time!!!
Alice didn’t want to sit in the stroller anymore because she longed to touch that incredible, white, fluffy snow. It was necessary to quickly give the child the opportunity to play with the SNOW!!!
So, my daughter went off to explore what it was and what could be done with it.
That day, it was very pleasant to observe nature: there, a bench stands all dusted with snow, on which no one has yet had a chance to sit; there, green grass barely peeks out from under the snowy blanket, and there, such enormous icicles hang from the roof!
While my child was looking around, running and jumping, I quickly began to capture all the surrounding beauty on my phone. Perhaps some of you didn’t have the chance to fully appreciate the richness of nature’s winter attire that day, so now you have the opportunity to carefully examine these incredibly beautiful photographs.
The flower bed near our house looked different already. The plants on it were all delicately “painted” by the Winter sorcery.
The attention was drawn to the rosehip bush. The crimson berries of the rosehip stood out prominently against the white winter landscape. They even added a touch of spiciness to it.

Next, I shifted my gaze to the trees. Oh, their appearance simply took my breath away!
See how the dry inflorescences of the linden, which haven’t fallen off the tree yet, are covered with ice. And here’s how the oak leaves looked, take a look.
As you can see, all the trees then stood covered in glassy crystal. Each branch was shining through from under a thin layer of ice.
The trees were cracking under the weight of the ice. They emitted a clear ringing sound, resonating on their ‘icy strings.’ The sound was peculiar. The sound of WINTER!
And what to say, even the frozen grass was humming with the breath of the winter wind.
While I was taking photos, my little daughter had already run around to her heart’s content, played, and even shook the snow off the fir tree. Her little hands were frozen. I warmed Alice’s palms and put my warm gloves on her.
And for me, it’s time to finish my article about one of the wonderful winter days. So, I’ll show you a few last photos, and that’s it…
